Focus of workshop:

1. Introduction to poetry and the writing of poetry.

2. Focus on subjects of "Nature" and/or "Emotions"

Highlights of workshop:

1. Conversation to elicit interests.

2. Building on interests to write poetry.

3. Possible outdoor writing session (if weather permits).

Notes: Students to bring along writing materials, water, and an umbrella.

*Parents, you can drop your children off at this poetry workshop and lunch will be provided for children only.

Rosemarie Somaiah is a storyteller, writer and teacher. She performs in theatres, museums and public spaces in Singapore and around the world.
